Objective of CIIIC PRO
The Taskforce for Applied Research SIA is the lead organisation for the CIIIC National Growth Fund Programme. Through the CIIIC PRO funding scheme, we fund research projects that provide insight into the effects of immersive experiences (IX) on public values. Examples of public values include inclusion, autonomy, safety, trust and well-being. The research projects develop validated knowledge, methods and practical approaches to capitalise on the opportunities offered by IX, assess risks and incorporate public values into the design, application and upscaling of IX. In this way, CIIIC PRO helps public and private organisations to enhance their capacity for adoption and their role as commissioning bodies. The scheme also contributes to responsible innovation and a strong Dutch IX sector.
4 years of research into IX and public values
Research projects can carry out research for up to 4 years under the CIIIC PRO funding scheme.
The lead applicant must be a researcher from a research institution. Furthermore, the consortium must consist of at least two co-applicants from SMEs and/or the public sector.
A maximum grant of € 700.00 per project may be applied for, and it is expected that five applications will be awarded funding. The research partners must contribute at least 50% of the total project budget in cash or in kind.
