• Internationalisation of applied research

  Internationalisation of applied research from universities of applied sciences improves the quality and impact of research. In 2022, Regieorgaan SIA (the Taskforce for Applied Research SIA) started the pilot programme Towards Europe. One of the programme’s aims is to enable universities of applied sciences to better connect with the European research agenda.

• Een ontwerpende aanpak voor places to be

  Leegstand en verminderde leefbaarheid maken het tot een grote uitdaging om Nederlandse stadskernen toekomstbestendig te maken. In het KIEM GoCI-project Designing the place to be zoeken onderzoekers van de Hogeschool van Amsterdam en Hogeschool Rotterdam naar een effectieve aanpak in deze multi-stakeholdervraagstukken.

• SERENE: International collaboration on energy-neutral communities

  In the collective housing projects Aardehuizen and Vriendenerf in the Dutch town of Olst (Province of Overijssel), Saxion University of Applied Sciences together with various partners, including the University of Twente, conducts research into sustainable and integrated energy systems in local communities. The project is a collaboration with researchers from Denmark and Poland.

FutureFoodS is onderdeel van het Horizon Europe-programma. Regieorgaan SIA stelt € 900.000 beschikbaar voor deelname van hogescholen. De rondes worden uitgevoerd door FutureFoodS.
